This blog is the beginning of a social experiment. I plan on distributing business cards with the address on it whenever I meet a new person. This idea came from the strong feeling that community is important, and that extant virtual communities are nice, but lack something. That something is physical presence.
I'm about to move to a brand new place where I'll know nobody. The end is not to see how the experiment goes, but to make it work so that it's no longer an experiment, but a viable means of establishing a social network that forgets the boundaries between the virtual and the real.
