well, I'm at my new home, and it's lovely. The pool is nice and the weather is great. The trip across the mojave was really tough. So dry and so hot. The landlord is still working on my room, but that's just about par for the course. I took the doggie for a walk today and he likes Claremont. You might, too. Schedule a visit with me if you get the chance. The town is very quiet. I was also pretty happy to see the Grand Canyon again. I might post some pictures as soon as I get the chance.
The only real snag in the trip was that we had to stay in a hotel in taos because we couldn't stay with the friends we intended to stay with because their next door neighbor/landlord had fatally shot himself the night before. They were very sad, and a little bit apprehensive about staying there.
