My Thursdays are spent scrambling around to get all my work done before Friday, which traditionally is a day of turning in tons of assignments. If I get done before 9 pm, it is really a triumph of sorts. So whenever I finish early enough to go do something fun, you'd better believe I do. Yesterday, I drove in to the big city to help celebrate the anniversary of the birth of a college friend who is at law school in LA. Apart from her, (who I had not seen or spoken to in 4 years) and my friend who invited me, I knew none of the other 35 attendees. In the end, it was a good celebration, and I met tons of new people, all of whom were very nice, and very pleasant to talk to. I was biting my tongue to not ask how many of these lawyers were going to work for "the man." When you work for the man, you call him "the friendly man" by the way.
And these two things are outlandish. One funny, one tragic.
Here's the tragic one
Here's the funny one
