Nerd Post

The semester is winding to a close. Just as necessity is the mother of invention, so hard work and deadlines are the mother of distraction. The harder the work and sooner the deadline, the greater the distraction. Here are a few great distractions I've succumbed to very recently:

The HydroFoam Flyer!

It's a Radio Controlled car/boat/plane and it is awesome. At $300 I think I'll get a fleet of them. If I'm on your list, you should consider picking one or more of these up for me. I'll act surprised, I promise.

One of the last things I intend to do before heading home for the holidays is one last science experiment. This one involves Mentos and Diet Coke. I plan on replicating the experiment seen in this video.

Over the break, I plan to get mentos and little bottles of Diet coke and attach them to a hydroflyer, fly it into your house, and open fire!
