A bullet point update like they teach us in business school...

1. I interviewed a band and the results will be appearing on these hallowed pages soon.  I promise you will like the band, and that you might like the interview.
2. Freshman Year college roommate is coming out for a visit.  That's exciting for me, as he will be the first visitor I have had in California who did not a) drive out with me or b)talk to me on the telephone every day since I left.
3. I had an interview for a summer internship that I really really want.  I should hear something by mid April.  I'll tell more about it if it works out.  By the way, I love it when there's something that really interests me, and I get to do it for money.
4. I've been taking this Israeli Special Forces martial arts class.  It's difficult and fun at the same time.  In a few short months, I could make you reconsider attacking me.
5. When the girlfriend was in town, we went to several sites seen in the former FOX TV series "Arrested Development" and took a few pictures.  That made for a fun day.
6. I have been under the weather until yesterday as a result of some intestinal bug most likely picked up from a bottle of fake pepsi purchased dangerously close to Mexican border.
7. the weather in southern california has turned perfect again.  this might make you want to think about becoming more like the dude in item #2.
8. I've been thinking a little bit about avogadro's number, and wish I had my own number.  Tentatively, let's call '4' "ryan's number"
