Great Big Ball of Fun (or 250,000 little ones)

It's been a while since we've had any multimedia other than a picture or a filmloop. Today, we're going for a picture, a song, AND a video. Hold on tight.

Last week, I was in San Franscico, Palo Alto, Mountain View, and Stanford. Seeing this video may always remind me of that. If you like the song in the video, get it here. It's José González, who has the honor of being the first Argentinan Swede I've ever heard/thought/known of. He records on basic equipment in his house. It's been a while since I've fallen for a something with such low production value. Maybe you will, too.

I have a feeling the video has universal appeal. I saw a "making of" the video, and never you worry, lots of kids were very happy to help clean up at the bottom of the hill.

Was any part of the video computer generated? How many rubber balls were going down the hill? Was there any damage to the cars? How many "takes" did it take to get all that footage? Is this too many questions to still consider only a comment?

none of it was computer generated. 250,000 rubber balls, no damage to cars. I think it took 3 takes. no.
