A call to arms

Well folks, the powers that be have finally done it. I've been worried about this for years. Today I read it in the news. Pluto is now officially NOT A PLANET. I'm highly opposed to the status of planets changing willy nilly like this. I built a model of the solar system when I was a child, and Pluto was most definitely there. For purposes of this here website, I'm going to say what needs to be said:

PLUTO IS STILL A PLANET!

I'll have a petition for you to sign very soon.

All I have to say is that no one who names a major celestial object after Xena the Warrior Princess should be permitted to comment on whether or not there is any magic in anything (at anytime). (I refer, of course, to Michael Brown, who I have seen elsewhere did indeed name object 2003 UB313 after the shrill shrieker)

I, too, am quite distressed. Not only by the demotion of Pluto, but by phrases like "the elite cosmic club," "Much-maligned Pluto," and "led to Pluto's undoing." Seriously.

Scince marches on, and cares not how you feel about the matter.
