On the lam from the blog

As Laurden points out, it has been a while, nearly a month, since I've posted anything. She has also guessed the reason for the hiatus...I've been busy. What has happened since last we spoke? We'll just say you should get ready for a mega post that knocks your socks (and any other below-the-knee habiliments) right off. That will be coming soon. This interstitial post will have to tide you over until mega post day.

A high school friend and I were reunited via the interweb. The last time he and I were in contact was that we exchanged email 7 years ago (I have proof). Since then, he's been Time Magazine's Person of the Year not once, but twice (2003 and 2006). Because he turned me on to a new band, that I like a whole bunch (the band is Herman Düne), said friend also gets my vote for Person of the Year 2007, but it is still early yet. Watch the video to get a feel for the band, and I promise to mega post sometime soon...
