My perennial question

I might be edging toward an answer here...The question, would you rather know what the biggest fish in the ocean (any ocean) is (and maybe even see it),


or know that two of your good friends who have never met before randomly met and somehow you came up as the connection.


Twice in the last month the latter has happened, and I have to say it is kind of satisfying. First time, a high school friend met a college friend at a bar in New Orleans. Second time, this week I met a friend of a grad school friend in the middle of nowhere randomly. Still, you get to vote, and you may wish to provide an anecdote.
