fast, thorough, and sharp as a tack

Fans of theme parties, I bring you hot hot news.

I sent a group email out to my class of first year students announcing a party at my house just 2 hours before I was to hold the party. I said that it was a blitzkrieg party that was to go from 8:30 to 10:00 pm. I had a respectable 10 people show up (about 1/3 of the class). It was nice. It's fun that way because nobody gets to ask anyone else if it's the cool place to be, and as you all know, that's how I lure people into my lair. In fact, if you're here right now, I'll just go ahead and tell you, it's not a cool place to be, but you got suckered right into it, and you'll probably come back.

If you try the short notice short party (aka blitzkrieg party) let me know how it worked out. I might just be in a group of people who all want something to do and want to meet the other people, so I have that advantage.
