Stenopelmatidae (aka king crickets)

I am not particularly squeamish when it comes to insects, arachnids, centipedes, and creatures of that sort. I will tell you this, though, when I saw this dude, the stenopelmatidae, I felt ill. It is huge, has a human looking head, and SIX barbed legs. It is no exaggeration to say that it also has mandibles of death. I didn't know what to do with it, so I released him into the custody of a pal-o-min-o to feed to his oh-so-cleverly-named pet black widow spider, Blacky. What a nasty creature. I'd compare it in size to the biggest grasshopper you've ever seen. Smaller than a praying mantis, bigger than a large cricket. Flesh colored. I can't get over the antennaed humanoid head. YEESH!

That thing is no match for the lubbers that appear in Normaltown, The Boluevard and 5-points every year.
