On the trip out west, all and all it went pretty well. I did a pretty good job estimating the costs, and with the help of a few kind souls along the way, those were kept to a minimum.
Day number one was from atlanta to Arlington, TX. I have some former co-workers who are expert hosts. You show up at their house tired from the road and they give you a gourmet meal and a glass of wine. You eat on their candle lit patio and follow it all up with a dip in their pool. It's a great way to unwind.
Tomorrow I have an intensive biochemistry review session that goes from 8 am to 5 pm. I'm off to bed. Expect anecdotes from the next day sometime twomorrow.
